Course Syllabus

  In this course, you will experience writing through analyzing different kinds of texts, engaging in discussions with your peers and instructor, as well as revising your own drafts. Various types of writing tasks will be introduced during this semester. You are expected to apply writing concepts and grammatical knowledge you have learned into the assignments in this course. Feedback giving and receiving is an important part of the learning process in this course. When you complete your drafts, you will receive feedback from your peers and instructor. You will earn credits for providing quality feedback for your peers. Guidelines and orientation for giving constructive feedback will be provided. To help you become an independent writer, you will be introduced to AI tools for outline preparation, draft revising and proofreading.
